Profhilo® is the first injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity. HA is hydrophilic, meaning it draws and holds water from your body, so Profhilo® acts as a hydrator rather than a filler. This makes it fantastic for those with tired, dull-looking skin, transforming it into firm, luminous skin. This effect takes place within 3-5 days of treatment.

Profhilo treatment involves small injections of the product for the area treated. It can be used to treat the face, neck and hands. Small bumps may be visible at the injection site directly after treatment and these will gradually disappear over the following 2-24 hours. Results can be seen as early as 3-5 days after the first treatment, however 2 treatments 4-weeks apart are recommended for the best results.

The difference between Profhilo® and dermal fillers is that Profhilo® stimulates collagen production in the skin itself via its slow release of hyaluronic acid. As a result of this, you can expect a more youthful, plump, and hydrated look. This unique process is referred to as skin bio-remodeling. Unlike dermal fillers, Profhilo does not add volume to the face. Instead it improves skin hydration, glow and may create a “lift” in tissues treated.

Concerns this will solve

Dull Skin

Dull skin can be caused by several factors, often linked to a buildup of dead skin cells, poor circulation, or dehydration. As we age, skin cell turnover slows, leading to a lack of radiance. Sun damage can also cause uneven skin tone, making skin appear lackluster.

Lines and Wrinkles

Lines and wrinkles are primarily caused by the natural aging process, as skin loses collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which are essential for maintaining firmness and elasticity. Sun exposure accelerates this breakdown, leading to photoaging and the development of fine lines, particularly around the eyes and mouth. Repeated facial expressions, such as smiling or frowning, cause dynamic wrinkles that deepen over time. Smoking, poor diet, and dehydration also contribute by reducing skin’s ability to regenerate and maintain moisture.
