Unbalanced Profile

The Stockbridge clinic

What is profile balancing?

Beauty is deeply personal. For some, soft facial curves are appealing whilst others prefer strong facial contours. For those who prefer a contoured facial appearance, loss of contour with age, or a perceived lack of facial contour can be a cause for reduced confidence.

Strong facial contours are also, for some, associated with masculinity so many male presenting patients seek to enhance these contours to enhance their facial appearance. Treatments to enhance facial contours might include jawline enhancement, cheek enhancement and correction of asymmetry of the nose.

Similarly, a balanced facial profile - the side view which assesses the relationship between the forehead, nose, lips and chin - can promote youthful harmony, whilst an unbalanced profile is often a source of reduced confidence in many patients, regardless of age.

What treatments can balance the profile?

Careful use of dermal fillers to subtly enhance certain facial features, in order to balance the profile, can provide harmony and structure to the face, disguising asymmetry and providing youthful balance.

It's crucial this is done by an experienced and expert clinician - when done carefully, dermal fillers to balance the profile can provide beautiful and natural results.

Chin & Jawline Filler

Chin and jawline fillers are non-surgical treatments used to enhance the shape, definition, and balance of the lower face. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are typically injected into the chin and along the jawline to add volume, smooth out irregularities, or create sharper contours. This treatment can provide immediate results for addressing concerns with facial definition.

Cheek & Midface Filler

Cheek filler is a non-surgical treatment used to restore volume, contour, and definition to the cheeks. Typically composed of hyaluronic acid or other biocompatible substances, the filler is injected into specific areas of the cheek to lift sagging skin, smooth out hollows, and enhance facial symmetry. The hyaluronic acid attracts water, helping to hydrate and plump the skin. This creates a natural, youthful look by replacing lost volume and improving facial contours.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as liquid rhinoplasty, is a procedure that reshapes the nose using injectable dermal fillers instead of surgery. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are injected into specific areas of the nose to add volume, smooth bumps, or correct asymmetry. For example, filler can be used to lift the bridge, refine the tip, or fill in depressions, creating a more balanced and contoured appearance. The procedure is quick, typically taking 15-30 minutes, with minimal downtime and results visible immediately.

Lip Enhancement

Lip filler is a non-surgical treatment that involves injecting hyaluronic acid-based fillers into the lips to enhance volume, shape, and definition. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin that retains moisture and adds fullness. When injected, it plumps the lips, smooths fine lines, and restores lost volume, creating a more youthful or enhanced appearance. The procedure is quick, usually taking 15-30 minutes, with minimal downtime and immediate results.
